All kids need positive role models in their lives, and if we don’t guide them, they are likely to make poor choices in whom they look up to. Even in elementary and middle school, the lack of quality role models can lead to gang involvement, drug use, crime and increased likelihood of becoming a high school dropout.

Research shows that early intervention, positive adult role models and teaching life skills are critical to closing the “academic achievement gap” – the difference between a child making bad choices or succeeding in school and higher education. And 78% of every dollar you give goes directly to delivering The Role Model Program to children in elementary and middle schools.
