Dare to Dream© Curriculum Student Learning Goals

The Dare to Dream© curriculum was developed by a team of local teachers and school administrators. The Elementary School Program consists of six one-hour interactive sessions, while the Middle School Program is eight sessions in length. These workshops are usually held once a week until completion; however, this approach is contingent upon the availability of the teacher and Role Model Volunteer.

In addition to these programs, there are two Supplemental Workshops that can be added to the Middle School curriculum. The "Dream It Do it" workshop is conducted by The Santa Clara County Youth Task Force. It is made up of a group of young people that help other young people (ages 12-19) start lasting community minded clubs, non profits, or businesses, that benefit the community, school or neighborhoods in which they live.

The second supplemental workshop titled "Choices and Consequences" is presented by the Safe Schools Campus Initiative. These individuals address gang issues that face youth today.

The links located on the right hand side of this page will provide more details on the curriculums.
